Job Title: Account Executive

Location: New York (In-Person Hybrid Work Model Preferred)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $200,000 - $250,000 OTE

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

We are seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities within the institutional finance and fintech space.

Reporting directly to the CRO, this role focuses on building relationships with asset managers, medium-sized hedge funds, and other fintech platforms. The Account Executive will leverage their sales acumen and deep industry knowledge to deliver tailored solutions, exceeding targets and contributing to the success of a transformative new product launching in H2 2025.

About the Role / Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential clients within institutional finance, hedge funds, and fintech platforms.
  • Execute a consultative sales process, conducting in-depth needs analysis discussions to identify opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of the company's solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas, leveraging an uncapped commission structure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and product developments to position offerings effectively.
  • Contribute to the refinement of sales strategies and the overall growth of the GTM team.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, fostering long-term client relationships and driving customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven success in sales within the finance or fintech space.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of institutional asset managers, hedge funds, and fintech platforms as target customers.
  • Sales Skills: Track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas with a focus on high-performance and competitive success-based compensation models.
  • Location: Based in NYC, with the ability to work in a hybrid environment (minimum a few days per week in the office).
  • Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, and results-driven attitude.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and productivity tools (MS Office, Google Suite).
