As we head into this upcoming earnings season, I wanted to let you know what we have been working on at Aiera, including some key improvements for the busy days ahead:

1. LLM Benchmarking: Deploying the Right Models in the Right Place


As we continue to leverage advances in LLMs to help our users work more quickly and efficiently (including event summarization, topic extraction, sentiment analysis, and report generation), we have diligently monitored and maintained performance benchmarks across the state-of-the-art models available today.


An article
recently published by senior ML engineer Jacqueline Garrahan provided detailed insights into how we generate these benchmarks, and use them for validating performance across a range of tasks, ensuring only the most accurate and value-added uses.

2. Thousands of Earnings Calls in the Weeks Ahead

In the weeks ahead, we are tracking over 2,900 validated earnings events, with the peak days set to be between July 25th and August 8th. As always, our team will continue to monitor events for changes right up until each event begins!

3. An Improved Mobile Experience

We have been working diligently on the intermittent mobile audio issues that were detected during the last earnings season, and have deployed a solution!

Without going too deep into the technical weeds, we uncovered a flaw in our mobile streaming implementation that was impacting Apple/iOS devices and was largely tied to load conditions. We maintain two separate modes of audio streaming, one of which is used only for mobile (HLS), which was the cause of the discrepancy between the dashboard and mobile experience. We have been stress-testing our fix for the last several weeks to ensure that our mobile audio is ready for the busy earnings season, and we are happy to say that those tests have gone extremely well!
